Privacy

Slingshot Golf can be played and purchased without creating an account. We do not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Information we process

If you choose SMS sign-in, we process your phone number for authentication and associate a random account identifier with a system-generated callsign, submitted round scores, and any push token you explicitly opt in to register. Apple and RevenueCat process anonymous purchase status so the app can unlock and restore content; Slingshot Golf does not receive payment-card details.

Expo services process app-update, interaction, and performance diagnostics. Sentry may process crash and diagnostic data when enabled in a production release. These services may receive technical identifiers, app version, device or operating-system details, and event timestamps. We use this information only to operate, secure, understand, and improve the game.

Processors

Microsoft Azure hosts the API and database; SqlOS provides identity software; Twilio Verify delivers one-time SMS codes; Apple processes purchases and push delivery; RevenueCat validates entitlements; Expo provides app updates, notifications, and performance telemetry; and Sentry provides crash diagnostics when configured. Each processor handles data under its own terms and our service configuration.

Retention and deletion

Local progress remains on your device until you remove the app or its data. Cloud scores, the generated callsign, and active notification registration remain until you delete your optional account. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their legal and fraud-prevention obligations.

You can delete your optional game account inside the Weekly Crown screen. Deletion removes cloud scores, leaderboard history, push registrations, phone records, OTP challenges, sessions, and tokens. Retained security-event rows are stripped of the account identifier, session identifier, phone material, IP address, user agent, and event payload so they can no longer be connected back to the deleted account. Local progress and App Store purchases are not deleted because they are not part of the Slingshot Golf account.

Your choices

SMS sign-in and notifications are optional. You can play the free courses and purchase or restore paid courses without either. You can disable notifications in the app or system settings.
